Hope everyone had a great christmas! We spent christmas at our house with Ken's family this year. We must have been good, Santa brought us a new video camera and Bryson got an all-terrain stroller/jogger(the BOB). Keb enjoys the new stroller as well, we get to go for walks on the trails where he can run through the woods. We were out walking on Christmas day and it even snowed! Bryson rolled over for the first time on Wed. I think it scared him a little cuz he started to cry. I haven't been able to get it on camera yet....

Welcome Grandma Z!

Grandma Zimmerman came to visit this week. She does a wonderful job getting the baby to sleep (she's afraid she boring him). He falls asleep whenever she holds him. Bryson saw the doctor for his checkup this week and he is developing on schedule. He weighs 11 lbs 10 oz. and is 23 inches long. He is able to "goo" now and he talks all the time! We have all our christmas shopping done and we even cheated and opened a few of our presents (the books). Bryson loves his books and mom loves to read to him!

Meet Jackson!

We got to meet Jackson for the first time today! He is so little, and what a cutie! We are very happy for the Blickenstaff family that Jackson was able to come home this week, no more feeding tube! Bryson has had a great week. He stayed with daddy on tuesday night while mom went out to her book club meeting. He took a bottle without problem! He really enjoys listening to Ken play the guitar. He just kicks his legs and waves his arms around while he watches his daddy. We may have a future guitarist on our hands! I've been reading him books like the Night before Christmas, he's really looking at the pictures; he's growing up so fast!

First christmas tree!

We got lots of rain this week! Our backyard flooded again, but not as bad as it did last year. They had to close the bridge by us again. Bryson has been even more alert this week, he is "talking" more and I think he even tries to "sing" with me. He seems to like Rudolf the Red-nosed Reindeer. We put up the Christmas tree and stockings this week. I think Bryson likes the bright lights. We went to Melissa's baby shower on Saturday and Bryson was wide awake nearly the entire time, visiting with all the ladies. Ken has been working on giving him a bottle, getting him ready for day-care. Unfortunately Ken came down with the flu this weekend and has been really sick. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that Bryson and I don't catch it, so far, so good!

Bryson at 6 weeks...

Bryson has been a very happy baby this week, he's hardly fussed at all. He's been working on holding his head up during tummy time(see picture). Our dog Keb is getting along great with the baby, he's even started to snuggle up to him (see pictures! We had some snow here on Saturday, it didn't stick, but it was awfully pretty.(see pictures)I do miss the snow...Ken's brother Scott came down this weekend to go with Ken to the Van Halen concert, Rock on! Scott was nice enough to watch Bryson for me while I ran some errands and Ken nursed his hangover.
